Direct Marketing Association Announces Finalists for New DMA Future Innovators Awards
Honors to be Presented During DMA09 in San Diego
New York, NY, October 16, 2009 — The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) today announced finalists for the inaugural DMA Future Innovators Awards (FIA), which recognize the innovative advances being made in the field of marketing. Honors will be presented at a special presentation on Sunday, October 18, at 5 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall near booth 1147, during the DMA09 Conference & Exhibition, the Global Event for Integrated Marketing, taking place October 17-22 in San Diego.
The awards will be presented each year to suppliers of new products or services exhibiting at DMA’s annual conference that are deemed the most influential and having improved the global marketing community in the previous year. In these difficult economic times, the need for creativity and innovation is great, and DMA is honored to provide the appropriate recognition as the marketing community continues to make strides.
Judges, comprised of the marketing community’s best and brightest, will review the submissions based on three main criteria: how innovative the product or service is, whether it is completely new or an advancement; the impact the product or service has on an end user (quantified with data); and whether or not the product or service made a difference to the global marketing community.
