Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association to Hold Lunchon for Regional Marketers Feb. 18
February 13, 2009 — The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) will challenge regional marketers on tracking and measuring marketing campaign performance at a luncheon meeting on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Main Line in Philadelphia, PA.
During his presentation titled, “It’s Noon: Do You Know How Your Marketing Campaign Is Doing,” Erik Charles, executive vice president, Business Development for MindFireInc, will delve into the hot topics all marketers should focus on during a recession.
“Now more than ever, every marketing dollar needs to be tied to a revenue goal,” said Charles. His lively interactive talk will cover results from an MIT Sloan study on the impact of response time to leads; the value of establishing, tracking, and measuring campaign performance; and the importance of A/B split testing. Charles will also offer a relevant case study example to bring concepts to life.
Having worked for market leaders such as Extend Global, Yopa, Inc. (now part of AOL/Time Warner: TWX), and Callidus Software, Charles has deep experience in analyzing business situations and determining the best methods for capitalizing on competitive advantages. Most recently he was Executive Director of the Executive MBA programs at the Paul Merage School of Business where he implemented measures for tracking student quality and performance.
This PDMA-sponsored event is open to members and non-members. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. at the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Main Line located at 4100 Presidential Boulevard in Philadelphia, PA. The luncheon and presentation runs from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM. The cost for PDMA members is $45; non-members pay $60.
